Actually didn't plan to write blog at this time but anyway it all started off becos i found tat i lost my eraser about half an hour ago. Its just a normal Hi-POLYMER pentel eraser but somehow it triggered off my conversation with my mum when we talked about how we treasured our stuffs and they eventually still get lost somehow. Then it made me realise in less then i year, i had lost my 3 scissors, 1 hole puncher and 2 erasers. Its may not be a big deal to others but it matters a lot to me( sentimentally). Many may not know but i had used that pink pair of scissors since primary 1 and the hole puncher since pri 3. Not that i don't have $ to buy new ones but its just the way u feel when u look into ur pencil box and find something familiar to u, u noe that this belongs to you. Compared to brand new stationary that seem like a stranger to u, i definitely prefer the former. I don't know how to say but some things just cannot be measured in monetary terms. Sometimes things are better when it is older, like wine, like frienship. Even the dirty pencil case full of pen marks and leads, i still can't bear to throw it away cos its bought from Queenstown Primary School Funfair last year, the place that started my mentoring life. I guess Sim Hui is really too firm with what she believes sometimes and gets emotional too easily
