Happy National Day everyone!
Singapore is finally 41 years old now. Had a unique kind of celebration this year, my class went out to collect old newspaper in Potong Pasir in the morning, though alot of ppl nv open their doors, it was nevertheless a fun experience with mummy and uncle deyun. Haven been to the HDB blocks for quite some time le so it was like revisiting the familiar environment tat i used to live in. Sometimes, i still miss tat familiar heartland atmosphere.I had fun with mummy and uncle deyun while collecting, it was not a realli a tiring job lar, since we finish after 1 hr plus and everyone went to Macs. Seems like sajc students like Mac alot, tats the problem with branding, pdt differentiation, so they charge higher than kopitiam but many youngsters are still willing and able to pay.However, other than singing a few national day songs with Auntie Pei Shan, couldn't feel the national day spirit this year and we spent the afternoon at kbox, singing some english oldies, haha, had quite alot of fun there. Hope that as we grow up, the high feeling that we had during festive occasions like this would not become more sianz. Juz miss the primary school days, when we have action for every song and u can realli hear the whole sch singing together, its so touching and u will feel tat u realli love Singapore
