Should post this before the prom one but was getting all excited after prom and posted the prom one first. Thanks Cam for sending the photos over too, so its now in my 'must' develop list already. Had a fun time at mentoring chalet on 28/11 and 29/11. Though it was immediately after my econs S paper, i wasn't tired at all and was happily enjoying myself. i think i was really auntie trying to boil water and sweeping the floor. It feels as if it was my home. I would never forget the homely place at aloha loyang and of course people who were there. There was so much fun even in playing frisbee, watching sunrise ( though we didn't see it), enjoying the seebreeze with them. It was the first time in my entire life i didn't sleep for the whole day. The whole night i wanted to play cards, first was diadee, then was Uno, snake and ladder and bluff plus some games yaofeng taught all the way till daybreak. I wasn't at home tired and was even telling lame jokes, discussing about 'A' levels and prom preparation the second day morning. Quite sad that some or many of them went back quite early before 8. Initially thought of going out together after that to escape theme park to play or at least enjoy playing a daytona racing game together. Ended up going at 11 plus with hanhui, yaofeng, daiwei, peishan, kah hwee and chin yee with a thought that we should actually have booked the chalet for 2 days instead.
Happy times seems to past too quickly. In the blink of an eye its over. prom and chalet. I will miss mentoring, miss the days i would wake up feeling happy all over just because its wednesday and i would see the mentors and mentees. Would i see them again? I sincerely hope so.
