Working!
Started working at Vivocity Mintmark 2 days ago. It was so tiring i should say. 12 hours per day is really not easy. Finally get to off today after changing shift with Peishan. Should really thank her for doing so because she now has to work 3 days consecutively. However, it was a wrong move I made because initially the steamboat with oj they all was today. In the end, it changed to wednesday. If I hadn't change probably I would have a chance to watch the annual star awards. Haizz. I am really having a splitting headache and my legs are aching from 24 hours of standing last two days. Although it isn't easy being sales, i finally learn how to do cashiering and to serve customers. I should say those who come in are really loaded, I couldn't imaine people spending 100 plus to buy some simple accessories. If its me i would rather buy cheap and nice stuffs in Bugis V. Until now, I still couldn't get used to days without tv and another thing that gives me a headache is that the vivocity foodcourt is always crowded. My half hour dinner break is really insufficient. I am like spending so much on food beacause one bowl of noodles cost $4.30 there. Really have the urge to bring lunchbox there. My collegue ,Li Leng, offered to pack ham bread for me and its really nice of her to do so. After calculation i have to spend at least $200 on food per month. To spend so much, i rather die of hunger. Juz joking.
But I can say for a A level student the pay is a bit lower, probably because no qualifications is needed, thats why i am going to try other office jobs more suitable after 2 months or so. Firstly. because there is no break during Chinese New Year and i have to help out at home. Secondly, the agency called last week and i think there are better jobs around that i can do to increase my chances of getting a scholarship and also suit my current stage in life. Any recommendation can still inform me :)
