Last Saturday, I went for my second steamboat outing with my fellow mentors only 11ppl turn up, I already felt glad to see many of them again. At the very last minute, Jeremy and Bernie suddenly couldn't make it, a bit disappointing. Nonetheless I was happy to see marj, sudev, Eunice, hanhui, Darryl, huric, cam and Patrick again. Another thing to mention was that I got a chance to play Daytona again, haven't touched the game since 'O' level and I think my skills are getting a little 'rusty'. The first machine I used, the brake wasn't working and I end up banging onto the wall. For the second game, I forgot that I changed the machine and continued to step hard on the brake and I started turning in circles at first. Luckily later on, I realize that and managed to drive properly.

The steamboat was 12 bucks as usual and this time, without oj and deyun to chop the crab properly, I never got to eat any and I end up being the one to refill the soup and also asking the person to change the aluminum foil. However, I felt happy doing so as they are my best cca pals and I think its worth it doing anything I can for them. As always, the butter kept splattering and it nearly landed in my eyes. Luckily the reflex of my eyelids are good enough. haha

After everything, we went for a game of pool and I lost 3 games to Patrick but it wasn't a terrible lost lar, probably 2 to 3 balls left so I still count myself lucky since I only played pool twice. Time flies really fast and especially happy times, I really didn't want to go back that soon but I knew I had to work the next day. By the time I reach home it was already 11 plus. Feeling weary but happy :) Being a mentor was the best thing in my jc life. Mentoring rocks!!
