Yup, after such a long time, I am back from my Switzerland and Italy plus 1 day Germany tour! Went to a lot of cities there and was most fascinated by Rome. Its where you see ruins from ages ago in b.c at almost every corner of the road and you suddenly feel yourselves so connected to the past and almost involve in the history. Its a wonder how they could have weathered thousand of years and remain standing there where it has been. Italy is no doubt a very beautiful country with building so beautiful decorated with mosaic and sculptures that leaves you grasping in astonishment at their marvellous artistic talent and determination. For example, the Gothic Duomo church in Milan took 500 years to build and after so many generations, the people there never abandoned the project. Even now, millions of dollars are put in to clean the building exterior all year round because of the corrosion of the white marbles by the impurities in air.My Favourite shopping place is Venice, their masks looks just like the ones i have always wanted, those fit for the masquerade.

After that i went to the Alps in Switzerland, this time it is entirely different from the man made wonders in Italy and is entirely natural. Over there you see the beauty of the snow covered mountains one after another joining to form a beautiful picture. Its a pity I am not an expert in skiing or else I would have joined the people in that sport. Switzerland is the perfect heaven for snow sports.

The happiest thing to me was that I had overcame my motion sickness and never felt car sick throughout the journey! I enjoyed this trip very much and though I am back in Singapore, a part of me still felt as if holiday has not ended. I can say this was the best journey i ever had. Thanks to my family who made it true and super tour's group mates who are so friendly and fun :)
