This morning, I finally couldn't bear the sight of my swollen face due to the swollen gums on my left and went to the dentist. Honestly speaking I cannot even remember when was the last time I went to the dentist. I really dread going there because of the sharp equipments they use and the pain the cause to your teeth. I know my wisdom tooth is growing and is constantly giving me problems but little did I know that it is fully grown and the worst thing is that it doesn't grow OUT. That means all the food particles are stuck between the tooth and the gum causing bacteria to infest thus causing the infection. Then I did an X-ray and clensing of the teeth which is not as painful as I had expected, nonetheless still scaring wits out you. Then his conclusion was that I need a day surgery next week to take the wisdom tooth out because the muscle and bones below my wisdom tooth are swollen and is in a serious condition. At this point of time you can imagine how dumbfounded I was to discover my tooth had such a great problem then the next shock was that the surgery to pluck out that wisdom tooth needs 600 dollars. Its not what you can say a pleasant surprise. The good thing is that you can pay by your parents' medisave which means you still have to pay. the moral of the story is its not so good to have WISDOM afterall.
