After 8 years, I am finally going for my second church camp again. This time not to 少年营 but to 青年营. 真的老了。haha. I had great fun and reflections over there though I did felt a bit left out at times because I am the only new member and non-Christians. You really can see the difference between church camp and school camps, they really seriously take the reflections sessions, rather than saying "like that lor" or " don't know " they will always say something about themselves that they have learnt from the 传道人 or the bible, the camp... Teaches people to look into their own flaws instead of always complaining. Though I am not a Christians but some of the 道理 they say in bible is rather meaningful. For example, there was this verse that said 每个人都有恩赐。I must say its rather encouraging for me because I often think of myself as a rather useless person with not much talent but they told us we are created for a purpose, to serve. That is why we should always try out new positions, jobs or duties to find out what is our real gift ( 恩赐 ）。

Other than the serious preaching and reflections, we do have lots of fun playing card games like 'Saboteur" and ' Munchkin'. Rather fun games that you wouldn't play outside. I was even thinking of buying them but was rather cash tight this holidays. Then there was my favourite programme on the last day where we acted out a skit in 群英会 and had a very fun 午夜活动。Where me and my new group was suppose to go around changi area looking for the body parts of a 分尸案 ( just represented by some fake plastic toys )。Sounds scary but we had great fun walking around after midnight enjoying the breeze and the changi night view. I was bitten by some unknown insect but my group members were really caring and they help me to clean the wound and waited for me to continue the game. Luckily it was not poisonous. Then we went on to play Munchkin till late night and went home the second day. Shall go for it again if I had a chance :)
