Wheewz, finally my exams are over. But I find that this first year in University pass in the blink of an eye. Never imagine myself to be able to finish my 1st year in 1 piece, haha. I think many of them who stay in hall found hostel life very interesting. Though I slightly regret not staying but probably would not have done well if I stayed in hall.
What can I say about my modules this semester? Slightly boring, harder and I struggled quite alot. There was a few occasions when I felt like giving up and thought I was really unsuitable for business. My confidence was hit hard this semester. But, I think I will be able to do well for some of the subjects and at least get a B for some others.

My accounting is currently 50% A-, but I think I screwed up my paper qns 2 when I couldn't balance my cashflow statement which cost me 20 over marks.

For my elective,Working in the 21st century, I was quite surprise I could do the paper. Thanks to the teacher, Kamal Kant, who gave us all the topics beforehand and the qns were almost 90% the same. I was so worried about it the week before because it was the only lecture I slept in and I couldn't understand some of the major theories. But this is only 60%, the rest will still depend on my project.

As for IT, I am really not sure, I thought all the questions were quite okay but I don't know alot about IT myself, so I don't know if what I have written is the correct answer. But I think IT is more about common sense. They ask you questions like why Microsoft wants to acquire Yahoo. Isn't that like a GP qns? If not, they will ask you why Microsoft access is better than Microsoft excel or why you Internet speed is slower in the evening. I nearly laughed when i saw these qns.

The 2nd last paper was Business Law, i finish the last qns in a rush with only 10 mins left. I think it was quite wasted because the last question was a give away.

For financial paper, the paper I worry about the most,I really never practice much for this and given my usual carelessness, I can't guarantee anything for it. I didn't finish a 2 marks question but overall it was better than what I expected. History never repeat itself.



After exams I went out with XiaoYan, HuiMei, Joan and Jiahui to orchard. Its been ages since I have been there. Had a great time shopping! Its very relaxing to go out after a long time cooped up at home. Wanted to go for class outing after that at bugis but none for them felt like going so we went home after that. But would like to go out with the class still if there is another outing :)
