Been reluctant to write posts recently because there is just to much to say and too little time for me to spend on thinking of how to write it out. Went to visit all my friend's blogs in the links (I do visit ur blogs okay, even if I nv tag) and sort of felt my hand getting a bit itchy so decide to update.

1/12/08: Got a Calling + Data Entry Job at DP information again, working 9am-6pm. I need $$

3/12/08: My very belated birthday at Vivocity with AiPing, PeiShan, Amanda, SuBing Chin Yee as seen from photo.



They really 'SURPRISED' me that day and I must say I am very touched. I think this is the first time I didn't see through the acting of my friends when they try to give me birthday surprises. I think I must give a Golden Horse Award to PeiShan who acted so brilliantly. And also to others who covered everthing up so well.
In case I forget this memorable day, I must record down everything that happened that day.

This is how the story went:
At around 6.30pm, Pinky and I reached Harbourfront interchange after work and I decided to go Marche for dinner.I asked Pinky what were the activities planned by chinyee for that day and she told me she wasn't sure.Hence I went there thinking that it was just a gathering after exams.

Then at around 8.15pm, SuBing and Peishan told me they have to leave as they had to plan for their china trip on the 5th. Though I was a quite dissapointed then because we didn't have much time to talk and it has been such a long while since we last met. But 我在Peishan的眼里仿佛看见了一丝不舍, so I decided not to let them know and let them go.

For those we stayed behind (chinyee, aiping and amanda), they happily entertained all my cold jokes and when I said I wanted to eat Swensen ice-cream 他们不慌不忙，没露出破绽. They brought me to the X'mas tree area and end up spending alot of time taking photos at the X'mas tree instead of going to Swensens. Halfway through Amanda suddenly say that she needed to get something from her friend at the MRT. By then I was really getting abit unhappy, thinking to myself: "Is this really a belated birthday celebration?, how come everybody like got something going on somewhere else" But since we hardly meet up and I know everbody is really busy I decided to do my best to feel happier by taking more photos and thinking of more pose.(Altough it wasn't captures somehow because of the lighting)

After walking around the deck for quite some time, we still did not head to Swensens despite my suggestion to go there while waiting for Amanda. Pinky then came up with the suggestion to go to the bank to transfer money first. So we went with her and when I came out of my bank, I saw Chinyee talking discreetly over the phone and she walked further away when seeing me. I didn't suspect anything at all because I thought she was speaking to ryan. So in the end when Pinky finally finish transferring, they ask asked me to go back to the MArche again because amanda is there waiting.

I got a bit puzzled and asked them why amanda can't meet us at Swensen directly??? They told me VivoCity is too big and I actually believed. haha. I must be feeling too tired after a day of work. But, things got a bit more suspicious from there, they started walking quite far from MArche as if they knew where to head to. If it wasn't the fact that I was thinking about the lyrics of 借口 to tell a lame joke, I would most probably have questioned them. But, at that very moment I was just thinking where amanda has gone to and was frantically looking for her everywhere.

Then at that instance we walked down a flight of stairs to the area facing the sea, this group, I caught a glimpse of this group of 3 from the corner of my eye, holding birthday cake and singing happy birthday. I suspect my lazy eye must be getting worse bacause I actually thought those ppl were some crazy secondary school girls doing a rather ridiculous but touching thing for their birthday friend whom I thought was the girl in red (Amanda) then. Little did I realise that, they were singing the song for me. Imagine, how shocked I was.


They actually bought 20 cupcakes for me and chinyee creatively thought of using candles that cannot be blown out to form the words 'happy birthday Simhui". Although they did not suceed in doing so because the security guard came along, I am still very touched by the thought of doing so for me.

Nonetheless, i got a really present surprise. See how nice my cake looked :D
