I HATE SONY ERICSSON
I am now super super angry with SONY ERICSSON customer service. My family ended up paying 40 plus bucks for a warranty that they promoted as 20 plus bucks. Isn't that ridiculous. They cheated me into the extended warranty package then get extra 10 over bucks from my Dad adding this and that to the 29.96 bucks promised. I felt so CHEATED!
Its the don't know how many umpteen times my phone is spoiled since I bought it 1 year ago. I never had any problem with my previous NOKIA phone at all. When I send it for repair last week, they told me my warranty is going to be over soon so they recommended an extended warranty package for my phone which is under promotion now at $29.96 bucks. I only need to pay $10 now as deposit to get it. So from the word DEPOSIT, we will understand from normal English that it means we pay $10 now and $19.96 later on. They even told me $29.96 is after adding the service charge and GST and it was cheaper than the labor cost of $30 so I should get it.
Seeing how lousy their phone quality is, I took up the package thinking that I might need alot more repair in the next warranty year. Then I discovered that I had only less than $10 with me at that moment, so I rejected the offer, saying that I will consider it when I collect my phone and have enough cash with me. However,the service personnel told me after discussing with her supervisor that I can don't pay the deposit now and make the full payment when I collect the phone. Hence I agreed and signed the form that says that I have to pay $29.96. NOT $40.66.
This afternoon, my Dad helped me to collect my repaired phone on my behalf and the increase the amount to $40.66. Saying because I never pay the $10 deposit I have to pay $10 more now as fine and after adding service charge and GST, it added up to $40.66. What the hell! The promised 20 plus bucks package inclusive of everything became $40.66. I could have gotten the same phone at $40.66.
Coincidentally, the old phone that I am using temporarily ran out of battery and my father couldn't contact me. So he paid $40.66 to them. I am SUPER Piss off. I hate the sales personnel who try to cheat you and not giving you what they promise. STUPID SONY ERICSSON! They took away the forms and everything from my dad so now 死无对证! I have no evidence to prove that they try to cheat me money! Actually under business law, you can sue them. But I am not going spend more money on this company getting into a law suit, they are just going to lose a future potential customer and more potential customer when I make sure more people know how 无良 they can be. :P
