I went to the other end of SG today

YUP. You are seeing the new Punggol Park Connector. Had a hard time getting there from my house. Firstly, worked till late night on Friday so didn't wake up in time. SO got my father to send me to Botanica Gardens MRT. End up we couldn't find this elusive station and drove to the 'real' botanica park entrance which was closer to orchard. Afterwhich, we drove to Adam road but missed the Farrer Park station. In the end we decide to drive to NeX instead and took 1 hour to do so when it could have taken us just 30 mins max.

I reached at about 2.20pm after taking purple line to Punggol then transferring to Riveria LRT. Had a light lunch at Popeyes and started on the 'not so long' walk. On the way, we saw many bicycles but just couldn't find a bicycle Kiosk. Passed by Lorong Halus wetland, punggol waterway and even walked one big round to WaterTown condo showflat where we were pretending to be interested buyers and salesperson ourselves since nobody was attending to us. Afterwhich, ended off the journey at Punggol MRT where we said bye to Ivan, WenJun & Mingwei.

Ronald went back his home to get his laptop while Zhilian, Zifeng & I (The Manila Gang) went Compasspoint to buy KOI :) First time drinking after going on diet for a month plus. Felt really thirsty after the walk under the sun.

Then we met Yu Hui & Jun Xian at Dohby Ghaut where we decide to eat Ajisen as it had places for 6 ppl. Honestly speaking, after trying the more authentic Ramen, Ajisen just taste very sub-standard and it isn't very cheap either. I had a good chat with the Phillippines trip ppl today :) I am sure I will still go for OCIP in the future, thanks to this trip, I think I can still handle it and I believe I want to do more for the kids. Got the urge to go back to join volunteer program nowadays. Whats the point of stating workload as an excuse? With or without the program, you still work late and work weekends so perhaps having an event will make me work more efficiently?
Its just like during school days where I had lots of assignment but still managed to make it for BOP sessions every week. Its the will to do so. I'm seriously considering.
